Bathurst Rifle Club Inc., 25^th March 2023 500 yards Practice.

          Saturdays start to the J Sibera Trophy at 300 yards was postponed until next Saturday 1^st April due to maintenance repair work on the communication towers on Mt Panorama which only allowed a late start after 3pm so a 500 yards practice was agreed to.

          The south westerly winds had some strength occasionally but also gave periods where top scores were possible and while dark clouds threatened during the afternoon, fortunately the first drops did not fall till the last shooter had finished.

          Graeme Bright excelled in the conditions shooting Target Rifle to record a double possible on the day, congratulations to Phil Mahon who also got up with a big smile each stage achieving his first double possible. Col Howell came home with a good second stage possible also but getting his elevation settled during his first stage lost points and Dave Butler lifted his scores with the use of his new front rest.
